I do agree that there are many differents projects and programs being developed in each region without any local coordination.
What you are describing is the need to begin with state of art in our local region to make this mandatory inventory.
Then we should be able to benchmark our 6 regions and exchange about all the components of food (health, packagning, flavour, texture,.....
So, as you see in 2010/07/02 note, this is the subject of WP3, imposed by CREATOR comitee
- WP3 Exchanging of experience / good practices
beginning with state of art and benchmarking and working on common studies
Another important carateristic of CREATOR project is to ask for visible impact on economy and companies added value => that should be the second large part of our project, as aked by your local coordinators:
"to show how this might and can promote local economical development within our different regions"
I think there are many differences in foood habits and consumption needs of our seniors between our various regions and this difference should be an excellent basis for exchanging and contributing to regional policies enhancements.
