Hi everybody;
First, about the white book I've planned to fix an end date at the end of May and i will post today this information on the weblog.
Second, about the fishing tool:
As I explained during the last meeting, this tool is just a tool to help BSO to introduce themselves with the SMEs. If you don't like it and if you manage to do a network of companies interested by the subject, that is ok. All your ideas are interesting. It could be very interesting to have informations from these organizations. But don't forget that at the end we have to do a "sort of network "with food companies interested by food for elderly.
To conclude, I agree with your proposals, but I repeat that we have to get some results with food companies.
We have to find some companies which are interested by the subject either because we have met them thanks to the fishing tool or with another way.
I hope I 'm clear and I give you all the answers you need.
Thank you very much for your ideas and your involvement in the project.
Best regards
Olivier FABRE

Hi Olivier.
Roberto and us had a meeting yesterday, in order to decide future actions regarding BIO LIFE. We have decided to take two different actions, and we want to share them with you, in order to know if you agree with them:
1) Regarding the fishing tool. As I commented on the past workshop, I think that the fishing tool could be a good thing to apply if we were talking about innovation management, but as it´s a very long questionnaire and it only has one question regarding the elderly subject, we have doubts that we can use it (in its actual state, and in our case) as a fishing tool for the project.
What we thought yesterday is this: as you know, we have made a LinkedIn group regarding BIO LIFE, which now has nearly 50 members. We think that we can simplify the fishing tool and give it a strongest orientation to the elderly subject. Then, we would do a new version of the questionnaire, and then use our LinkedIn group to do a "State of the food sector regarding innovation and elderly subject" survey, with a focus on the elderly subject. This will help us to boost the interest in the subject, and will help us to prepare people for a regional event regarding the project.
2) Regarding direct contact with organizations. We have decided to search for specific organizations that can be interested on food regarding elderly, so we plan to do direct contacts with them. We want to visit them and obtain from them:
- Good practices/projects that they have developed regarding elderly subject.
- Future plans for new ideas/developments.
- Possible needs regarding this future developments.
If this organizations have "something" that could be shared/disseminated/etc. We would try to use this experiences in the regional event that we are planning to do.
We are not planning to use with them the fishing tool, as we consider that we are not going to need it to approach them.
What do you think, do you agree with these actions, is there something more that we would have to take in consideration? Every comment from you is well received.
Thank you very much Olivier.
PD: regarding the white book, maybe it would be a good idea to open a "last call for modifications/recommendations/changes/new contents" with a fixed end date. With my experience, it´s the best way that we and the rest of the partners force ourselves to do a review in depth and make good suggestions
