How to come in Lorraine
If landing in Paris, use train reservation : http://www.tgv-europe.com/en/
- landing in Paris: 2 airports = CDG ( Charles De Gaulle) or ORY (Orly)
=> If you land in CDG, you might take a TGV ( Train) directly in the airport ( depending on your arrival schedule) to LORRAINE station (almots 1H20)
=> If you land in ORLY, you have to go to Paris East Station ( "Gare de l'Est) and the take the TGV to Metz
Prefer to land in CDG, because TGV train station is in the airport. When landing to ORLY, you still have to take local train to Paris "east station – gare de l'EST which means 1H30 more
- Landing in Luxembourg: Findel Airport is 60 km away from Metz
Then taking bus to Luxembourg center and then train to Metz
- Landing in Frankfurt Hahn
It is Ryan Air hub: cheap but 2,5 hours with the bus to Metz
François home is 40 km away from Luxembourg. So if you plan to land on 25th in the afternoon in Luxembourg Findel, he may pick 4 persons and take you to Metz Hotel.
Where to sleep in METZ?
