Dear Magdalena and Malgorzata, and dear all,
Wonderful, i didn't have the time to do a note about whta we said during the meeting and you have already traduced the questionnaire.
As we said during the meeting, your questionnaire is very interesting but it is too long.
Therefore, I think Ase, Païvi and you must exchange in order to remove some questions.
When you will have done it, hopefully next week, it will be interesting that François, Ana, Roberto and David give their opinion about the relevance of the questions in order to make some innovations.
In order to reduce this questionnaire, i think these questions could be remove: anthropometric measurements and questions 21/22/33/32/31/30/36/37/39/40/41/42/44/45/46/47/48/52/53/54/55/56/61/62/63
Thank you for your work
Best regards
Olivier

Hello Olivier, thank you for your comments,
as you wrote the questionaire is loong and propably too wide for the needs of our project. As we told all of you during the presentation that this is part of Msc thesis one of our students, who preparing information obout nutritional kwnoledge, nutritional status and expectations to the food products patients 55+. What means that some of the questions might exceed our project aim. Anyway we decided to put everything on the blog, we think that food preferences are conneced with nutritional status and nutritional kwnoledge our actors.
Best regards,
Magdalena & Malgorzata

Hello Magdalena and Malgorzata,
I knew that we said during the meeting that your questionnaire was too long and i think you are right when you chose to translate all your questionnaire.
Now we can choose which is interesting for our project.
That's why i gave you my opinion about these questions.
Now i hope that Ase and Paivi will answer you quickly about it.
Best regards and thanks a lot for your note with photos

Dear All,
We (that is PULS, Häme and UmU) have had some email converstaions regarding the joint questionnarie. We have taken Oliviers suggestions in consideration and I have made some comments and suggestions myself to PULS. I hope they will merge all of our comments and suggestions into a new verion and post it on the weblog for all to review.
For example: Anthropometric data may not be of relevance for BIO LIFE, Questions 8-10 might be replaced by a question concerning food-related diseases, question 18-19 might be difficult to answer for the elderly since it demands some knowledge, question 21-22, 30-33, 35-47, 52-54 and 61-63 might not be relevant for BIO LIFE purposes?

Regarding dietary habits, the suggestions I would made are:
Maybe the questions like 4, 6, 8, 9,10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28, 31, 33, 56, 57, 58 have less relevance than the others, as they are partially represented in other questions or they ask about things that are not related directly to food.
Maybe the questions 34 to 40 can be substituted by only one question, or a table where the people have to choose how often do they have the different kinds of drinks .
I could say the same for the questions between 41 and 55, regarding different kinds of “solid” food.

Here are some comments regarding the questionnaire (sorry for the delay).
First of all, all the questions seem important to me, as all of them can give information of some interest, so it´s a very difficult task to “cut” this questionaire.
Talking about the Personal Data, maybe questions 3, 4, 5, 6 and the anthropometric measurements are of less relevance than the others, as I´m not sure that people would be willing to answer them (education, earnings), or as they are not necessary for BIOLIFE.

Hi everyone, and sorry for the delay in responding:
As many of you had said, there are some questions, though interesting, are not really aligned with the aim of our project.
About personal data, I think the questions related to education, earnings and anthropometric measurements are less relevant than the other ones.
Regarding dietary habits, the following questions: 4,6,12,13,14,15,16,20,21,23,30,31,32,33,57,58,60,61,62,63 might not be so important in our context and I would try to merge questions regarding the same thematic (eg:drinks, dairy products, meats, etc) creating a table with the list of the different products (rows) and the periodicity of the comsuption (columns).
These are my suggestions.
Regards
Roberto
