Dear partners,
About the implementation of the project, i would like to have your opinion about it. I think we have to create 3 kinds of help:
- for elderly younger than 65 years old we could help the SME by giving us informations about nutrinional needs and marketing informations.( because the needs for this population is nearly the same than the rest of the population): This help could be provided by business support organisation by giving information to SME's.
- For elderly between 65 and 80 years old, SME must be helped to produce some product with some useful packaging and product with nutritional interesting value. This kind of help could be provided by business support organization and R&D center .
- for elderly older than 80 years old , we could imagine to create a group with some hospital or retiree home, companies, universities and businses support organisation, in order to help them to create some new products.
Thanks to post a comment about it in order to explain me how you imagine this or if you have others ideas for the implementation.
Best regards
Olivier
Maybe your proposal would mean to split the implementation of the project in three parts. That it´s correct if we could have something concrete to offer to every one of the three groups that you have indentified. The problem I find is that I think that the information that we have generated up to this moment is not as concrete as to be able to appeal to different groups in a separate way.
I mean, I think that at least now we can´t take specific information and transmit it to specific organizations, maybe we have to start by trying to attract the attention in a global way.
Other problem is that your proposal would mean to work actively with those different groups, in order to be us the ones that would work in possible solutions for known problems. Personally, I think that that is not te scope of the project; I think that we have to be the catalyst for arising interest in the food for elderly subject, but the specific solutions have to come from the organizations themselves.
So, another option would be to make "open meetings", in order to detect organizations with real interest in the subject of the project. The basis for this meetings would be the state of art generated up to now. If we are able to transmit this information, an we are able to attract the attention of some organizations (the one that are really interested on using that information or working on the subject), then the network will be defined by itself in a progressive way, with the iniatives and collaborations that can arise from it, with us as catalysts of the interactions between them.
